Dear lords,
 
To make sure the stability of the game operation and improve the service quality and experience, Blood of Steel will be shut down for maintenance and update from 7:00 to 9:00 UTC on January 19, 2021. The game world will be closed at that time.
 
We will close the game match and the login entrance. The account database will be additional maintenance and backup to ensure the stable and smooth operation of the servers!
It does not rule out the possibility of opening ahead of schedule or delayed due to specific conditions. Please arrange your time reasonably.
 
 
Patch Notes:
 
[New Hero]

1. Release new hero Kaihime.

 
 

 
 
[Balance Adjustment]
 
1. Sibylla: Add Snipe Formation, which can reduce the movement speed, increase the ranged attack, and reduce the hero's charge attack damage (reduced the damage of charged shooting from 1.1 times to 1.05 times)
 
2. Qin Qiong: the mace will resume one shot every 30 seconds.
 
3. Catherine:

     a) Reduce the 3 random skills to 2. The [Supplies] and [Captives] are merged into [Provisions]. When the troops are not full, the effect is to supplement 1 unit; otherwise it is to restore the HP.
     b) When the loot reaches 100%, the player must be given 2 skills (1 each for [Provisions] and [Ammunition]) instead of randomly given 1 from3.

The duration of restoring HP effect of [Provisions] is reduced to 15 seconds, and the amount of [Ammunition] is reduced to 4 shoots each time.

     c) New trophy drop mechanism. There’s chance to drop trophies when killing units with special effects in the battlefield. Trophy must be dropped when killing heroes, regardless of whether it is killed by Catherine.
     d) Catherine from the same team can pick up trophy from each other, but not from the trophies from enemy.
 
4. When the cavalry horse dies, the hero or the unit will fall to the ground and need to get up.
 
5. Deng Ai: Increase defense of units of Deng Ai.
 
6. Ma Chao: Unit charge skill will have the lowest starting speed.
 
7. Ranged damage taken by all ranger heroes and their units is reduced by 20%.
 
8. Slightly increase left and right slash attack speed of two-handed weapons of Spartacus, Liu Bei, and Harald. Slightly reduce attack power.
 
9. Increase cleave damage of double swords of Spartacus, double mace of Qin Qiong, and double axes of Harald unit.
 
10. Lady Zhurong: reduces the CD of [Replenish Arrows] from 90 seconds to 60 seconds.
 
11. Fixed the bug that shield defense did not take effect .
Adjusted the HP and defense of all shields. Currently, crushing damage will break shields faster than before.
 
 
[System Update]
 
After playing for such a period of time, we believe that many lords may have encountered some experience problems, in this update, we will gradually optimize and adjust this part.
 
1. First of all, we will add support for 64 bit systems. Due to the operating system and underlying technology constraints, the current 32-bit system only supports 3.75 GB of memory, some players may have encountered game jams and keyboard and mouse failure, which seriously affects their in-game experience, as well as the cooperation of battlefield with friends. Therefore, we also suggest that if your system is still 32-bit, upgrade the system to a 64-bit system as soon as possible.
 
2. The UI global zoom function will also be available in this update. In the future, the UI display can be scaled in high resolution (such as 4K) and in window mode. greatly enhances the game experience.
 
3. Allow to switch resolution in full screen mode
 
4. The old Hero info interface cannot be very intuitive to view the relevant information. In this regard, in this update, we have the whole hero info interface remastered, the interface will be more clear so that players can more quickly understand the relevant information of the Hero.
 
 
[Map Update]
 
1. Warrior Training scene optimization                   
As a hardcore medieval game, we always think that the experience of beginner's training is very important so that players can start faster. A good scene can let the player have an immersive feeling so that players can have a real experience. Therefore, we have our Warrior training scene remastered. The remastered scene will be more expressive and shocking, which can let players have a more immersive experience, and also enable the players to understand and familiarize themselves with the game more quickly.
 
2. There is no longer any point-taking acceleration rule on the Legion War map with only one stronghold. The occupation time is adjusted to a unified 180 seconds.
 
3. Add a unified supply CD to arrow supply point: the supply point allows one player’s hero and units to replenish supply every 60 seconds. When a player completes a replenishment and the replenishment point is still in the cooling state, the prompt "Replenishment point is cooling down, x seconds remaining" will appear in the range of the replenishment point. Refresh the remaining cooling time and prompt once every 5 seconds.
 
4. There is no longer any point-taking acceleration rule of point A and B in Siege Battle stage 1. The occupation time is adjusted to a unified 60 seconds
 
5. Yumen Pass 6v5&10v8 siege battle map adjusted (Add the guards of the gates, etc).
 
6. Constantinople adjusted to 3-stage siege battle map.
 
 
[Game Mode Update]
 
1. Open Mercenary Shop, including material dismantling and material purchase
 
2. Section modification of the Ranked Legion War: Marquis section is restored to 5 sections, and 5 stars are added; inheritance rules are modified
 
3. World of Mercenaries adjustment
     a) Legend Battlefield is now available for some maps (Switch between the modes by clicking the Legend/Normal mode buttons on the world map)
       ★When the Legend mode is activated, the difficulty of some maps will be increased to an epic level
       ★The player must have at least one hero at level 51 to enter
       ★The player can only enter the Legend battlefield by forming a team of 5
       ★When entering, each person needs to consume a corresponding number of Zendar Tokens. Different maps consume a different number of Zendar Tokens.
       ★A [Supply Officer] will spawn when certain progress is reached in the Legend battlefield, Players can get great rewards from killing him
     b) Greatly reduce the difficulty of the conventional battlefield (low-level, intermediate, high-level, and top-level)
       ★The high-level and top-level materials in the chest of regular skin shards are replaced with the Zendar Tokens.
       ★The skin shards chests in the top area have removed all permanent skins, and can only be found when the [Supply Officer] is killed
     c) Greatly increased the speed of reputation acquisition in various areas
     d) The leaderboard of [World of Mercenaries] is now ranked according to the scores of Legend Mode
     e) The bond effects have been adjusted
     f) The time of World of Mercenaries will be adjusted from 8:00 in the morning to 2:00 in the evening every day. See details in the game
 
4. The new props experience ball will be for sale in World of Mercenaries, synthesized from 100 low-level materials, and the effect is to obtain 5000 World of Mercenaries PVE General EXP. It can be traded in Market.
 
5. Add two options of Zendar Tokens/Experience Ball in the selection of Market
 
6. In Ranked Legion War, the player will activate the background frame of Emperor Mark (permanent) when the player reaches 50 stars of Emperor
 
7. In Ranked Hero Arena, the player will activate the background frame of Challenger Mark (permanent) when the player reaches 50 stars of Challenger
